Today FDMJ joined Lancaster City Fire at M & R Grain on Newcomer Rd. for a grain bin rescue training. Crews worked to rescue a simulated victim stuck in a wheat grain bin. Thanks to LCFD for inviting us to join them in this training.

This morning at 0412 Station 75 was dispatched for a vehicle accident with reported entrapment a block from the firehouse. Squad 75 arrived to find the driver had self extricated and only had minor injuries. The Engine also made the response and assisted with patient care and fluid control. The accident is still under investigation but it is believed the driver suffered a medical emergency.
